I will probably have to replace my exhaust this year. Is there any advantage to replacing it with an aftermarket cat-back system such as one from Remus, or just keep it stock. I understand the sound may be better, but what about performance?[?]

I'll consider any option. I was just wondering if I will see any power gains (no matter how small) with an aftermarket exhaust. There's no point in spending $400+ at the dealer to buy what I have on there now. Even if the change is cosmetic alone, I'm tempted.

The performance increase from an aftermarket exhaust is around 4 to 6 hp, maybe 8 if you are lucky. You will probably loose a little mid-range torque.
