Hi, I am trying to remove the heater motor from a 2001 right hand drive vito 108 cdi. i need to change the brushes in the motor. i have got as far as getting the 3 screws that hold motor in place out and from what i have read on here people say that the motor should just pull out then.

however there is a black metal tube/bracing which goes through the inside of the dash which seams to be stopping the motor from pulling out.

does anyone know how to get around this? any help would be great.

thanks

yep, left hand side in the passenger foot well, did you not have any clearance problems with the metal tube going through the inside of the dash?
