Has anyone succeeded in getting the steering wheel controls on a 2001 E320 to work with an after market stereo? If so, what adapters did you use?

Those won't work.

According to PAC the Can2 has not been tested and they can't guarantee that it will work. My installer tried it and was not successful.:crybaby2:

YouTube - 1999 E Class Steering Wheel Controls for Kenwood CD

yep, we built a special interface that converts the W210 protocol to the PAC-SWI and it works just fine
Hi, I own W210 model of Mercedes "2002 year model". I have installed Clarion FZ409 model aftermarket stereo system. I will be very pleased if someone give me an information, how to make searing wheel controls to work. I am searching for solution for 2 years. I purchased PAC SWI-JACK bud it didn't make them work.:(:(:(
