2001 E320 4Matic wagon.

A bit confused as I followed instructions. The hub popped out easy and then after removing the C clip the bearing only pushed the center portions out leaving behind this inner ring.
I can’t access it as there’s a collar on the inside of the knuckle to stop the bearing from moving in.
I’ve tried hammering the area I can get a cold chisel on but it’s hardly moving.

Does anyone have any input on this situation? I may have to take this to the shop? I've got a 20 ton press, a master hub and bearing press kit rented from O'Reilly's along with a generic bushing kit.

Signed frustrated and confused.

Answering my thread here:

I can keep trying to hammer it out using lubricant fluid and applying heat to the knuckle with a torch. If that doesn’t work dremel cut and chisel. These are a pain when they happen boy oh boy.
