2001 C320 won't charge iPod Help!
I have a iPod FM wired transmitter that won't work on my 2001 Mercedes-Benz C320 . The car lighter and socket work because the lighter gets very hot fast when I press down the lighter. When I try to use the FM transmitter in the Mercedes it won't charge my Ipod and the FM transmitter doesn't light up.
When I try the FM transmitter in other cars like my dads 2004 Chevy or his 1994 chevy the FM transmitter works. The ipod starts charging,the FM transmitter lights up and you can hear the music through the speakers.
Do I need a certain type of FM transmitter for a Mercedes?

I don't have a cassette player.
