Hi I have a 2000 E430 that recently has had the blower stopped working on it. Stopped completely on both Cold and Heat. When I have the heat on HI I can feel the heat when I put my hand on the vents but no blower to blow it.

Any suggestions? Tips? Any thing I should check for?

Does this sound like I need a whole new blower motor or something as simple as a fuse or relay? I also have 163,000 miles if that helps.

After you check any related fuses I believe you can try to bypass the blower motor resistor and see if it runs. If it does run, you know its the resistor. The resistor I believe is more likely to go than the blower motor itself.

I just changed my resistor out at 210k miles. :)

The blower motor regulator might be what juve010 is referring to as the resistor and has been reported as a common issue. Search this forum and you should find several threads discussing those. Plus I think this must be addressed in the sticky threads at the top of any of our pages. Good luck.
