Hi there,

can anyone help with MB SLC 2.8 1975 electronic fuel injectors. I had on- six of bosch 0280150015 what i need to change now. Does anyone has them or at least something what would fit too? Somebody told me that i can install from more powerful engine too.... am not sure if its true.... all i could find out is that they dont fix petrol injectors.

Looking forward for your answer!

I checked the ones that came out of my '73 450SL and they have the same number. Kind of surprised me because I thought they would be different.

thats why am looking for aftermarket or some other option
It would hep if you fill out your profile and let us know where you are.

There are sites that offer refurbished injectors as well as aftermarket. The refurbished injectors are tested, cleaned and checked in every way they can. In your searching look for the 450SL D-Jet because the 280SL was not offered in the US Market in your model year.

Dombra,

The MB part number on these 000783523

You can use Bosch part number 0280150036 injectors, they are the same spec. (and in fact I think, but am not 100% sure that they supersceded the 0280150015 injectors).

As stated, German Star has these (000783423 though, but I believe interchangable). Here: Mercedes R107 Fuel System Parts

Also, if you are in the US, you can send yours to Witch Hunter Performance, who will flow, test, clean and refurb your injectors for USD$18 each. they are here: WitchHunter Performance - Injector Cleaning & Flow Testing Services

Good luck.

If they are interchangeable, it's news to me. Of course, we have 3423 injectors, but not 3523.

well what he was referring to maybe is that the the 350 euro engine{which is why you dont have them} uses yellow and the 450 uses the blue injectors and some drivers "cars" can use either....he does like ridddles eh..Jeff

Right, but this is for a Euro 6-banger. I'm pretty sure I could scrape up some Euro 3.5 nozzles.

Yes i have euro version of MB SLC 280 with M110 engine and injectors are greeninsh blueish. Could these guys from WitchHunter Performance - Injector Cleaning & Flow Testing Services could fix my injectors, the problem is that they dont spray petrol but you can literally see the petrol trickling from them?

Trickling is leaking and is not good. A short reply would be yes it will probably fix them if the inner coil- winding is good.

EPC shows it to be the 3423 injector. Are they clicking when voltage is applied? Have you tried soaking them in a sonic cleaner. (Steal your wife's jewelry cleaner, but don't get caught.).

Doesn't the color refer to the pintel cover?
