I think I remember reading in the owners manual that the ML has a 2.5 gallon reserve tank, i'm not sure if that kicks in once you hit empty or if that 2.5 gallons is incorporated into the "yellow fuel warning"

does anyone know? because my bank account was closed today due to a wellsfargo error, I'm under 18 I don't have any credit cards, and I had no physical cash all I had was my debit card, wellsfargo gave me a temporary card until I get my permanant card in a week but that temp card didn't work at the gas station or at a wellsfargo ATM, so I was driving on E, I'm pretty fed up with wellsfargo right now

No offense, but Wells Fargo is one of the seeziest financial institutions around. I'd change who I deal with because you will eventually get burned (sounds like you already did).

I bought a Mitsubishi TV and Pioneer surround on their 1 year, no interest. When I paid off the balance before the expiration of the deal, they failed to post it (yeah, right) till 1 day AFTER the expiration of the deal. You guessed it, they retroactively charged me interest from the date of puchase- 18% worth. I now pay cash for everything and I tell everyone I can what the sleeze balls done to me and countless other people.

There is no seperate tank that is a reserve, once it runs out of fuel it is out. 2.5 gallons left is about when the fuel light comes on.

BlackHawk,
I have to agree about Wells Fargo Bank. They really did some slimey things to more than one person I know. There are banks out there will treat you better and probably would have never screwed up your account in the first place.

I know you are a student. Money is possibly tight. You can keep a $100 bucks hidden in your wallet or where ever you want to. Not so long ago a major failure caused no access to all ATMs in my local area. I needed fuel and food. You guessed it, I had my $100 stash handy and made it thru the rest of day.

I regulary put 20 gallons in my 320. I have no idea what this 18 gallon tank is that is in the owners manual. Keep in mind I am tipping off like crazy, but I know I can get 20 gallons in my 320. I was told this has no adverse effect on the fuel pump so I will not stop until I get proof otherwise.

My weekly commute used to be 100 miles, now I am up to 200 and gas in DC is 3.05 for 93!!! and they dont have 91!!!! Does Mercedes make a bike?
