2.5-16V Engine or Mosselman Turbo

I have a 1986 190E 2.3-16V automatic and I have been thinking about 2 options:

(1) Swap the 2.3L for the 2.5L
(2) Install a Mosselman Turbo

Any thoughts on either of these?

For what you get, the turbo is the better option IMHO as there is plenty of work for the swap or stroker. Unless of course, your 2.3 needs a rebuild, then the 2.5 first - turbo later?
It turns out that the Mosselman Turbo brings the 2.3L up to 250HP while the 2.5L with the ...

It turns out that the Mosselman Turbo brings the 2.3L up to 250HP while the 2.5L with the same turbo only goes to 260HP...After a little bit of research, I think the collectability is retained by adding the turbo to the original engine...

Yeah but a 2.5 probably has a much broader torque and hp band [;)] There is no replacement for displacement[:D]

hey are you the same corrado kidd form the vortex? i used to have a corrado and be on there a good bit. but i sold it and am spending more time with my 16v. :)
