I've been wanting to take the SLK32 out to the local 1/4 mile strip since I bought it over a year ago... Some guys from work invited me to go with them and see them have a "grudge match" with their '07 Mustang GT's. Needless to say, the 32 was a little suprising to them... fully stock

I only was able to run 3 times, but they are all VERY consistent: 13.41-13.43 I could feel my badly worn Falken tires slipping quite a bit off the line. But overall, I'm pretty happy!

BTW, That was the Mustang on the Left...

How did you launch it? Was going to take mine to the track next Friday.

As I've never ran an Automatic at the track before this, I just mashed the pedal when the 2nd yellow lights up. Didn't mess with trying to launch from the e-brake since I was already having traction issues.

Oh yeah, make sure the traction contol is turned off...
