Hello All,
I just purchased a 2002 clk430 and it had an issue with the idle..seemed to lope or miss. There were no codes stored and no check engine light. I went to my local dealer and purchased a set of plugs, fuel filter and changed the oil. Problem solved! And it really woke up the car. It is SO much more responsive. My car has 60k miles for reference. I highly recommend changing the plugs if you haven't...I don't think they would last 100k like they say. Mine were not in great shape...Just thought I would share my experience.
p.s. It really is a pain in the ass to change the plugs!! Make sure you have plenty of time and a few swivels and different size extensions. Fuel filter was not hard at all. Took me about an hr. Good luck to all!
