I know this is an often asked question, and I searched archives before I asked, but with no luck:

Will a set of monoblock II 19x8.5 with 245/40/19 front and 255/35/19 rear fit on a '01 320??? Thanks for response.

It will but the rear will tuck further under the well if you don't use spacers. The common tire size for your application is either a 235/35/19 or 245/35/19 in the front and the back should be fine. I would use a 1/2 inch to 1 inch spacer the back to make the car look more proportion.

are you sure the 240/40/19 is okay for the front? My real worry is that the 40 series in the front and 35 in the rear would cause a problem. I am pretty sure the rears will be fine. Also, does the car ride like shit when you use spacers? Thanks for the quick reply. Joe

The front would be a little taller than usual. If you don't lower it drastically, then it won't be to bad.

Mark,

Will it work with the stock suspension? Also, do you think it will throw any sensors off? I have read in past posts that it can throw the speedo off and cruise might not work. Does the 40 & 35 series together cause this? Also, will they rub at all?

Thanks,
Joe

It will run fine with your stock suspension. As far as the sensors concerning speed, the speedometer will vary slightly from factory but nothing to the extent of a difference that you will notice. Lastly, no issues will occur with the cruise control. Rubbing should not be in issue at stock height either.
