VIN# 4JGAB54E0XA089182

This week I have found out that the Catalytic Converter on my ML320 is damaged and need replacement. According to the EPA website my VIN number falls under the recall list and will repaired or replaced at free of charge. When I went to the Benz authorized dealer @ Plano, Texas to take care of this, they told me I have to pay for this. Does anyone know any email contact info for Benz customer service?

thanks,
paul

Is it a cracked seem at the welds? That is all the warranty covered in most cases.
Attaching the DTB in PDF format. I think there is a newer release of it.

The dealer is correct. Catalytic converters are only warrantied for 8 yrs., therefore your warranty expired in 2007 .
