Hello all,

Need some help on identifying the root cause. I have a 1999 ml320 replaced the Tie Rod Ends on driver side two weeks ago. Yesterday when I check the front wheel I see the play again and it pointing towards the tie rod. NTB did the alignment after the tie rod replacement. This is the third time I am replacing the driver side tie rod in 2 years.
Could it be something else causing this tie rod damage.
Do I need to use the OEM parts from the dealer?
Any advice?

Thank you,
PA

What brand did you use the two times they failed? And also tell us where you purchased them from.

I believe first one made by moog
second one from Oreilly Auto parts - Beck/Arnley - Tie Rod End, Front Left Outer Part Number: 101-5805

Thank you.
