We really need to rethink the pricing. The 99 and 00 need to command a premium because they are better made and easier to service. The 02 to 03 really should be discounted for the problems and for the difficulty to service. I just put Mr. Gray in for a standard service at 60k. New passenger window regulator. This is the 11 th one for this truck. My silver one has had 6 and has half the mileage. The 99 has never had an window regulator issues. Also the door panel on two doors has had to be replaced on the 02 because of the window regulators. I would pay a lot extra not to have an 02. In fact, I did and I was justified. Just in my time alone based on the time cash burn rate of my 02 versus the little 99. Just a thought. I think that all things being equal (mileage and condition) there should a be a 5 to 7.5K premium for an 00 to an 02.
To be honest, I tempted to by this truck for my brother.
