Let me provide some background on the vehicle first:
-Purchased in 04/01 with 45K miles
-3 oil changes performed during first 45K miles (service booklet stamped by dealership--"Mobile" oil used--not sure if this is of the Mobil1 synthetic or Mobil dino variety)
-Numerous oil changes performed at 5-7K intervals with 0W40 and 5W40 Mobil1 synthetic until current mileage...150K.
-1-1.5 quarts burned every 5K.
-Primarily driven on in town trips by my mom although I make a point to use it for some highway trips as well.
-Awesome vehicle!

I just changed the oil this weekend and used about 8.25 quarts to refill. The level is right at the max mark. My mom pulled out of the driveway today immediately after a cold start and accelerated to about 2.5-3K RPM (oh well, I guess not everyone babies the car like I do)...and I noticed some blue smoke leave the tailpipe (definitely enough to see). Is this something to worry about. I am more worried about fouling the plugs and cats than the engine blowing up. Please advise on how I should proceed. I know the valve covers can be covered in sludge and may inhibit proper crankcase ventilation. I also have a seepy rear main seal and oil pan.

Thanks in advance! Happy Thanksgiving!

PS I have never noticed the smoke before...and I am hoping this is a non issue and related to the oil at the max mark and overly zealous acceleration when cold.
