I need help. I disconnected the battery on my car and the central locking system and rear headrest recliner either. I checked all fuses, they are ok.
I am guessing that the vaccuum pump is not working, I don"t know witch fuse works it, is their a procedure for this??

Have you look at all the fuses?
There are 2 boxes under the hood.
One box on the side near the Steering wheel( might be in the other side from you ?)
And one box under the rear seat.

+1 with Olivier and I think the fuse(s) you need to focus on are in the fuse box under the rear seat. Plus when you are in there you can watch or listen to see if the pump is working.

When you say you didn't hear the pump, were you trying to use any of the features that it involves? Like the locks or the rear headrest lowering?

Yes, I try to use the buttons on the dash or on the key. It is like the pump is dead. This all started because i disconnected the battery. It was working ok.

There have been reports of those pumps dying but it is a rare occurrence. If you are sure it is dead I would look for one at a salvage yard.

One thing though: Do you have your key in the ignition and turned to position 2 right before you crank it? I would try again with key in position 2 or with the car running.
