I understood that this model started in year 2000...:confused:

Your problem above is not making any sense to me. How do you know the injectors are not working? Altogether there is not enought information here for a comment.

Also, please complete your profile with model/year/location, as this often helps.

it is a 1998 cl500,.. my mechanic Said fuel pump is on but we get a Error Start message ?...if i put gas in air mass meter throdel body it will run on that gas,..? any thoughts on what next to check with out towing it to mbenz ?.the battery is fully charged too,.thank you for your time !. Joseph

cl500's when from 1998 to 2002 a #140 body style...5.0 double over head cam engine @ 315 to 320 HP...with chips in engine could easy go to 375 HP !,...

OK, my bad - I found it. Not listed under C- Class in my WIS. :)

About your situation - I've no idea how you are adding fuel via the MAF - it sounds quite dangerous.:eek:

From the circuit diagram of your ME-SFI control module, (N3/10) the 8 fuel injector valves are driven directly from N3/10. There are many inputs that control N3/10 - one of which might be bad and affecting the operation of the injectors. Take your pick from the following sensors:

Coolant temp sensor (B11/4), Intake air tem sensor (B17), Air pressure sensor for M33 (B28), Camshaft Posn sensor (B6/1), Crankshaft posn sensor (L5), Left/right knock sensors (A16/1, A16/2). N3/10 also drives the Throttle valve actuator (M16/1)
