Hi
Ive a 1997 SLK 230 im a bit worried about heating in stop go traffic ive read everything I can on this site about the cooling system on the car and everybody says the electric fan should kick in at 95 degrees the thing is there is no electric fan theres a fan there spinning the whole time. Anybody able to shed some light on this

Jed I'm guessing you don't have aircon. The electric fan is on the models with aircon, yours is run direrctly off the engine.

Kilkenny, I used to live there. I might see you some time on the M9:D

My model has aircon so it has the electric fan but the temp. has never gone over 90 so I'm not sure if it's working. Maybe if we have a summer this year I'll have a chance to check:cool:
