I would like to know that E420 1997 has any security installation against theft by mercedez (Company installed)? If there is one, then how can I get a proof of security to provide to my insurance company. I bought car from a private owner. Thanks for your replies in advance.

The insurance company should self generate the info by putting in your vin #, I guess you could show them the owners manual!
