does anyone have any pointers on how to change gasket on the oil pan on the inline 6 E320 model?
any pics of people doing it? Just looking to see how scary it is . LOL. Due for an oil change soon and wanna do it all in one shot.
any insight would be greatly appreciated. thanks

How sure are you that it's the oil pan leaking?

Oil pan on the M104 straight six is not a source of oil leaks. Usually the leak comes from above.

hmmm had a buddy who is a ASE tech looked at it. I can have him check it again. There are a multitude of drips danglling from the pan too.

Valve cover gasket, upper timing cover and headgasket are known issue. Oil pan, almost never, unless you banged it up by jumping the car over a hill or something.
