1996 steering wheel

I have a 96 sl500 I want to change the steering wheel to a wood and leather. It appears that in 1996 the wheel was changed placing the horn buttons at 2 and 4 o'clock rather than the whole airbag. I looked at one on ebay that appears to be a pre 96 model. Where can I get one that will fit my airbag?
