Roll Bar Still Stuck Up
FD - thank you for the time and effort to reply. No success yet. This is what I did based on your info:
- Disconnected the battery for 30 minutes to clear any codes per your suggestion.
- Took the rear seat back off to watch the movements.
- Found the two fuses in the Auxiliary Fuse Holder (F24, CST/RB) by the battery to be good and cleaned them up.
Could not find:
- The 4 pin test connector in the footwell.
- The Aux. Fuse Holder (F24/1, Hydraulic Unit).
-After resetting codes per your instructions I operated the S84/4 switch on the rear console per operating manual instructions - "Hold up rocker for 8 seconds then push down rocker."
- Per your supplied information, pushing the up-rocker should activate the hydraulic pump and raise up the roll-over bar deployment solenoid (Y57/1) [visible with seat back removed].
- What happened was I only heard a click coming from the R/B valve block (Y57). This click was heard both when the rocker switch was pressed for both up and down.
So my conclusion is that the hydraulic pump (A7/5) does not come on as it should when S83/4 is pressed; I do not hear the hydraulic pump operating.
- Conclusion: the H/P power fuse is blown (can't find F24/1), the pump is shot, or there is a bad ground (where is the ground point for the H/P power?). Or something else.
- Thanks for the help.
