Sorry if this is posted in the wrong section but I have a 95 e320 with no heat or ac. Checked all fuse panels with no result. The fuse before the main panel is also good.

Please help as the weather is getting colder and colder

thanks

Hi Nick,
The people on here that will be able to help you will need to know your location in profile.
Location makes a difference with your particular enquiry as car can be euro spec or other which elimanates or adds certain components.

Nick,

When you say "no heat/no air" do you mean there is no air movement from the vents?

Could be bad blower motor regulator. You need to check for voltage at the regulator, assuming other components are OK such as the push button control unit.

Nick,

Was the lack of air movement a sudden failure? If so, check the strip fuse. It's just next to your hood alarm button. Remove the fuse to check it. They can develope hairline cracks and "look" good when they aren't. It is a 30 amp fuse and looks like the images below.

Jayare pointed out the most likely culprit, the fuse. The next likely cause is the regulator, followed by either the ignition switch or the blower itself. If its the blower it could be stuck, needing lubrication.

2 Years ago I unstuck and lubed the blower. I thought I was going to have to do that again! Hurray, it was the fuse, it gets pretty warm on high speed and I guess it flexes, eventually cracks. good to go---
