Hey guys.

I have recently purchased a 1993 300TE that I am in love with, It needs some work so I am beginning to educate myself on the FYI work that I can do.



Can anyone tell me if my car as a cabin air filter? I have tried to shine a flashlight into the area beneath the wiper blade but still can't tel

Your car wasn't equipped with a cabin air filter. IIRC it was optional on 94/95's. If you haven't already done so, spend time in our DIY sticky. There's an incredible amount of info there.

yeah, my 94 has one and 93 doesn't. and you can't put one on the -93 cars either, they changed the airbox intake to allow them. FYI, the filter is just in front of hte wiper, directly under the cowl.

If your question for the air filter is because of low air flow (thinking its blocked), there are vacuum pods that control the direction of air. If this is the case there is plenty of info out there if you search w124 vacuum pods. Its a semi-involved job. More time consuming than difficult as you dont need much more than a couple sockets and screwdrivers.
