Hello just bought 93 300e 185k

When I drove it home ran normal except when I accelerated hard it would buck and sound like it was backfiring. Got home bought new set of plugs(bosch) and wires and when I changed them now car feels like it not running on all cyclinders? Any idea or suggestions? Thanks

A distinct change in operating condition after changing spark plugs could be bad wiring harness. Next step is to read the fault codes.

Thanks for the help It is really appreciated. I changed the valve cover gasket and rechecked the wiring. When I started ran perfect then about a mile down the road started running rough again. Its giving a code of seven ignition malfunction. Any suggestions on wiring harness and replacement???? thanks again

Do a compression test on the cylinders, you might have a blown head gasket. Also...double check spark plug wires and that firing order is correct.

Rechecked the firing order and it is correct. When I squeeze the harness wires they make a cracking sound. You guys think its the harness? Also when I move them a bit the idle changes.

I agree, cut open the outer cover of the injector harness and
check the insulation of the wires.

There's your cue....carefully and meticulously check the wiring harness. It sounds like you have a cracked wire which is causing some arcing.
