I have been working on my 1991 500SL for about three years now. Just doing a little here and there. I finally have all the leaks stoped...I think. Thought about selling it several times, however I just haven't been able to part with it.
Anyway, I hope that I will be able to fix some of the issues that occur myself. I had my battery charged at a local parts store. I don't drive it much in the winter. When I put the battery in, all my gauges stopped working. Even the fuel gauge. I checked the fuses and they appear to be O.K. The back light works as well.
What else can I check?
