I've got a leaking Differential. I'm not sure what the part number is for the replacement seal. And is this something I could do myself? It seems pretty straight forward. Jack up MB, drain Diff, Loosen axle shaft, tie axle up out of the way, open diff cover, remove retaining clip, pull out connection flange and shims (don't lose), remove seal, replace everything in the order removed and keep it clean. Refill Diff with 90W. Probably be about 250 if I took it to our local MB Indy.

Checked the fluid level, it was ok, running out after removing plug.

Considering drain and refill.

it's a 2.47 ratio.
