1990 560 SEL - Grey Leather Interior - Need to replace leather on inside of "B" piller. Apparently the metal part of the seatbelt has gotten caught when closing the door and ripped the leather. I have looked at GAHH but only found seats and full or half hides, etc. Anyone know of a source for this leather (if it is leather?)?

I know of 1 leather masters that sew awesome with leather. paul has more than proved his skills to the point of passing Porsche Standards. He also is a retired guitar maker if I am not mistaken.

The same thing has happened to my B pillar trim. It's easy enough to remove the trim I think. I was just going to glue it down, but I'd be interested to hear how the sewing repair turns out. Thanks

Thank you for the information. I guess I really am looking for a a source for the leather(?) on the "B" piller. I just want to attempt to have the repair made with stock materials because the rest of the interior is almost flawless.

I can use the defective piece as a pattern. BTW, is it leather or some other type of covering on the "B" piller?

It's vinyl, not leather and commonly tears.

Paul does get leather from Gah and other sources as well. They have worked hand in hand many times. FYI

You're correct, it is vinyl. I replaced mine with material from WalMart but make sure you get the elastic type. And glue it with contact cement.
