Any tips on fixing these? I'm pretty sure mine's busted, getting 0V on the idle control valve output.... checked the wiring, it's all fine, tested the inputs, they all look good...
Yeah, ~12V at the power terminal on the idle control module connector, so OVP's fine. Checked my coolant temp sensors, throttle position sensor as well. How is the OVP? have you checked that?
Having a similar issue with mine as well. Tested the ICV and it's working okay. If I disconnect the connector from the valve, the idle increases. I believe I'm getting about 3 volts to the valve, which if I recall correctly, is not sufficient voltage...Idle's stuck at 1600-2000 RPM. I tested the valve by applying battery voltage to it, which stalls the engine out, so it's not a vacuum leak or anything. Continuity was tested from the idle control module connector to the valve, checked out okay. The module is *supposed* to put out 5 volts to control the valve with, but I've got nothing there. Tried pulling the module apart and reflowing all of the solder joints, didn't help.
