Update: Reflowed all the solder joints on mine... still no go. The valve is fine, just that the module will not output any current to it. Guess it's busted. Anyone have a spare they'd be willing to sell?

Idle's stuck at 1600-2000 RPM. I tested the valve by applying battery voltage to it, which stalls the engine out, so it's not a vacuum leak or anything. Continuity was tested from the idle control module connector to the valve, checked out okay. The module is *supposed* to put out 5 volts to control the valve with, but I've got nothing there. Tried pulling the module apart and reflowing all of the solder joints, didn't help.

OVP is a wierd thing. i have tried 3 new OVP's from KAE, URO and the orig one that came with the car. the car behaves differently on all the three. so just checking the voltages might not give you the true picture. that was my experience. dont know if that will help your case.

Having a similar issue with mine as well. Tested the ICV and it's working okay. If I disconnect the connector from the valve, the idle increases. I believe I'm getting about 3 volts to the valve, which if I recall correctly, is not sufficient voltage...

Good luck...

Be sure your solder on the wire connector inside the plastic cap on the ICV is solid. Mine was cracked up a but, had like one strand in solder. YRMV, but after I verified that, I wiggled the relay under the psgr footwell and no change. Tried flowing new solder but just replaced it and issue solved. I have solved 2 problems by learning to check the solder inside the plastic connectors first. Those wires get brittle with heat and age, for my experience.
