Very nice looking car – the wheel arches are a bummer; if you want serious buyers get rid of the tree on the rear view…[:0]

I think it was Eddie Murphy who asked..

Just what do you do in your car that you need one of those things hanging from your mirror?[:D]

Hi, The car has 124,600 miles on it. I gues I"ll
have to take the chrome arches off, I didn"t
realize they were so unpopular. Thanks

Hi Otto. At this time I just need to sell the car
(OR at least one of them) I love my 560 but I also have an 87 420 sel with bent valves I need to repair.
I also have an 85 jaguar xj6 for sale, will see which
one goes first.

Hi Otto, My 420 sel has 130,000 miles on it and is
in very good contition (except bent valves) it is
a white car with red interior, not as pretty as the
560 but very nice.

i'm a little confused about why you would want to keep the damaged 420 and sell the non-damaged 560. unless, i guess, you're a used car dealer (hence the 1985 jag also for sale, perhaps) and you're planning to sell the 420 as well, after you get the valves fixed. if that is your plan, be aware that you may not be able to recover the cost of fixing the valves when you do put the car up for sale....

also, i agree with the others -- those chrome fender things make the car less appealing.

No I am not a car dealer, just a car lover.
any reason you're keeping the 420 instead of the 560? just curious.

I hear your dilema. At one point I owned 6 cars. They all ran but one. My wife finally put an end to that and Now I'm down to 3 for a change.
