I have a problem trying to troubleshoot my 560 SEL's tach. My FSM doesn't give me enough info to trace what wires.....

Can anybody help me out here?

TD signal wire. It's mean, it's green, and it goes from the crank sensor to the EZL (ignition control unit), to the diagnostic port on the driver side, to the idle computer, to the fuel pump relay, to the tach.

on a 1987 mercedes benz560sel there is no crank position sensor there are 3 possible problems the tach itself is bad there is a bad part on the circuit board or the wire that goes to the engine sending the signal to the tack is bad or broken or grounded out from short
