I get a pulsing noise from all speakers. In addition the only sound from the speakers on the right side of the car is a buzzing or popping noise. The other two work but still have that pulsing noise. There's no amplifier in this year. Could I need a new speaker fader switch?
Does anyone have an idea? Do you know how to remove the stereo without messing up the dash?
I appreciate it! Thanks.

It sounds like it could be your fader switch. Over the years dust will build up in those type of units and the connection gets worse. Try rotating the fader switch back and forth a few times while blowing some compressed air down in there. You could get a can of compressed air that's used to clean computer keyboards out. That's about the cheapest way to remedy your sound problem.

Hmmm...

Are you sure you don't have amplifiers behind the rear seatback?

I thought those were standard (US) on the SELs.

Anyway, the fader switch is about $50 and you need to remove the center console to access it.

If replacing the fader switch does not solve your problem, I would have a look behind the rear seats to verify your stereo set-up. The amplifiers are two small black boxes mounted behind the back seat support. Check those out and their wiring.
