The Good: Runs and drives well, lots of power, starts instantly, idles smooth, and the transmission shifts good, very fuel efficient. Rare and hard to find, 1987 was the only year the W124 turbo diesel wagon was offered in the U.S. Recent repairs include new Interstate battery JAN/12, injection pump resealed, JUNE/12, new fan and fan clutch, serpentine belt with tensioner lever, pulley and dampener, JULY/12, new starter, JULY/12. 250k miles, Never run on veggie oil, ice blue color with tan interior, A/C is cold. sunroof works, central locking works and the glass is all good. Paint and interior shows some wear, so priced accordingly. However, the car is very solid, not rusted out, runs well and can be used as it is for the not too picky. Sold new and still located in San Diego.
The BAD: Driver's seat bottom is worn, antenna does not work but mast is not broken, air does not blow from center vents, hood ornament broken, RR window does not work, paint and interior have typical wear and fading for a 25 year old car, $3200 OBO Paul - 760 814-2644
