1986 Mercedes 190E 16 Valve Cosworth
Very rare 1 of 2000 ever made between 1986 and 1987

Up for auction -EBay

Smoke Silver Exterior (factory body kit)
Black leather Interior (Recaro Seats)

167HP, 4 cylinder 16 valve Cosworth engine, 5 speed getrag reverse dog leg transmission , RWD with factory LSD

Car runs great, many new parts.
Recent valve job and new head gasket
Borbet wheels with Toyo Proxes4
Custom cat-back stainless 2.25 exhaust (factory Cosworth header)
Euro grill (original inc.)
Euro lights (original inc.)
New bushings in rear suspension
New clutch slave and master
Many more new parts

Body has some small rust spots on the quarters and fender but otherwise is very solid.

That's well-kept and low-mileage. It only stinks that I'm in PA and you're in IL. I'm interested and will PM shortly.

EDIT: Could you post any pictures of the underbody, and also the rust spots?

185 hp? this an ece euro, or a modified engine? PS there were almost 20,000 16 Valves made between the 2.3's and the 2.5's, but only slightly less than 2000 imported into the US in 86 and 87..Stock hp for all 2.3-16V's whether Euro or US destined..was 167 hp..except the "ece" cars which were shipped up through early/85...these were the only stock "euros" which have the higher 185 hp motors. The ruf and Kat versions made after this all had the lower was basically emissions control which reduced the hp.
