Nope, I don't think so. I measured mine and found it to be about 24mm (MY1987).I was searching my W201 CD and on the 1986 Supplement it says:
"A new front torsion bar, repositioned with respect to the engine, has been installed. Due to it's larger diameter of 24mm (22mm at each end), new rubber bushing mounts are required."
The 16V and EVO II only has a 23mm front sway bar so this must be a mistake... right?
Regards,
Don
The Eibach "upgrade" for the W202 is 28mm... the W201 version is 25mm. LOL
But anyhow, the 16V only has a 4-cylinder up there, the 2.6 has a huge, heavy M103. More antiroll bar helps control this weight, as well as the higher rate of the springs.
