I have very poor acceleration from the start. I have to push the accelerator to the floor to get it to move. The motor will not rev up in park either. It has an auto tranny. Can anyone give me an idea as to the problem. Thanks.

make sure that when you push the pedal to the floor that the throttle is hitting the "throttle stop" under the hood.

Oh man....It could be so many things!
First of all, start your engine and lift the hood.
On the top of the valve cover you will notice fuel linkage....Pull on the top one to see if the engine accelerates....
Does the exhaust smoke at all if yes what color when you pull on the linkage, don't be afraid to pull hard.

Get back to us afterwards
