Sorry if this is a stupid question but are 1985 500SEC rims the same bolt pattern as a 1989 300 CE? I've found a custom set of rims currently on a 500SEC that I'm considering.

Also, is there somewhere that lists the size / bolt patterns of rims for various years of Mercedes?

Thanks

Why are you posting this in the 123 forum? To answer your question, the wheels will not work. Actually the bolt pattern has nothing to do with it -- 124 and 126 wheels have different offsets.

All mercedes have 5x112 bolt pattern. Ron is right about the offsets. W124- 15's dont fit. I fit some CLK 16' on, but you need a 10mm spacer for the front. The rear is too far in, but it works. I would recomend a spacer for the rear too for the CLK rims of 10mm. I had some lorenser rims 16s that fit my W123 and an SEC. It just depends on the offset.
