I understand that the Aux Fan is controlled by the #6 ice cube relay above the fuse box. The relay sends the 12V it gets from the fuse box to the fan. I checked the fan by applying a voltage directly to its connector and it works.

The Aux Fan relay is controlled by two temp switches, which send a ground signal to the relay.

One of these temp switches is located atop the thermostat housing.

Can anyone tell me where the other temp switch is located and its temperature set point, i.e.: one switch is set to kick in at 52C and the other at 100C? Is the thermostat switch set at 100C?

Got it. The other temp switch is installed on the receiver/dryer (dehydrator) and closes at 52C. This means the thermostat switch is set to close at 100C.

Thank me )

Are there any pictures I can reference? I have the Aux Fan switch and have no idea where it goes. 🤷🏽‍♂️

I see another single wire that comes out of the left side of the thermostat housing but is shaped differently. Is that it? I’m not seeing anything else. Sorry I’m a novice here.

just to let you know the circle in the front middle with the 1 wire should be the sensor that goes to the dashboard temperature gauge

Did the new sensor work?? make that $25 for the old sensor, I forgot about shipping and I'm assuming the old one doesn't work
