When I did some work on the fuel/air system, the car sat for about a month. It took about 10-15 seconds of cranking for the fuel system to prime up properly. I had simply tried priming the system several times by turning the key to "ON" and then back off, and then back "ON" for about 5 seconds at a time.

If you can verify you've got fuel, then it could be a spark issue. Would definitely test the crank position sensor if you can rule everything else out as being in working order.

Will it have a crank sensor being an 84 I can’t find one but I could be looking in the wrong place

If you have an ignition control unit it will need a crank sensor.
Find your EZL (ignition control unit) most likely bolted to the side of the driver side fender. It has 2-3 large plugs. Find the one that has only one large connector, unplug it and measure it's resistance across the 2 terminals (center and outer). If it reads <1200 ohms but >800 ohms, it is not your crank position sensor.

But like I posted before you need to first decide if the issue is ignition or fuel. That's basic automotive diagnosis, and is not specific to a W201/190E.

It’s getting fuel and spark I got it to kinda back fire to I thought I had the timing 180 off swapped it back firing got worse so I swap it back and it just crank and kinda pops but never start I found a box in front of the main fuse block on the drivers side that has two silver looking relay and a few other fuses in it one of the relay is for the fuel pump when I plug it back in I can here the pump kick on the other relay has turn blue like it gotten hot and I don’t notice any difference when it plugged in or not would that be for the crank sensor

If you are hearing pop's from the intake, un-burnt fuel is finding it's way and igniting.

So you have an ignition problem most likely.

How did you determine the ignition is fine?

Make sure your spark plug wires are in correct order and then put a strobe light to your timing marks and make sure you are seeing the timing marks. Would be between 10 - 20 degrees during cranking. You will need your friend/spouse to crank while you are watching the strobe light.

I assume you already took out a spark plug while cranking and observed spark, so I will not mention that. Oops I just did...

Another possibility is not high enough voltage at the plugs, or very irregular spark, but the strobe light experiment may reveal something.

To make sure it is not a fuel delivery issue just squirt a little starter fluid down the throttle and if it starts and runs for a second or two, then you have proven me wrong and it is your fuel system not your ignition.

- Cheers!

The plugs wires are in correct order I pulled the plug did the spark test getting more than enough spark did e3 plugs when it pops it puffs smoke out the exhaust pipe and if I spray starter fluid down it it does nothing but crank

If it does not start for a second or two with starter fluid something is wrong with your ignition.

If you have a strobe light this is the time to put it to good use. If you do not you can probably buy one for 20 bucks. Some auto stores may even loan these out.

See if the timing is all wrong when you crank. You may have a CPS or an EZL ignition control unit failure.

Have you found your EZL and your CPS and tested the CPS?
