Hi to all 190E owners. I'm looking at buying a 1984 190E and just wondering what to look for that would cost me $$$ to fix. The car looks decent at that age with 242K's on it. The only reason why i'm really interested is due to it's manual tranny. Thank you!

any and everything will cost money to repair...depends on what the original condition and 20+ years of maintenance history tell you.

Your starting out with too high in mileage to be dependable.
I wouldn't give over $750 for it idf it's pristine, (which I doubt).
It's not that these cars are done at that mileage, but don't expect dependability, and repair costs will be to the point they will overshoot the value in no time. The previous owner is dumping it for some reason.
Good parts car.
