Hi Folks,

The AC condenser on my 300SD is leaking pretty bad. Now, looking to get a replacement and wanting some recommendation from you all. I don't want to spend too much, but would like to get reliable brand / part.

Also, if someone could please help me out on how to take the condenser out....any step by step instructions would be great.

There are some very effective leak sealants out there. Mine leaked but after sealant treatment still works fine.
Had to have a different one this year but it still seemed cheaper than the large cost of a new MB one. Cant remember how much but it put me right off.

Can copper soldering work for the condenser? I can see the leak, it is right above the high side pressure valve area.

Has anybody bought these condensers? They have two kinds, not sure what the difference is and has lifetime warranty.

I'm going to try some jb weld for now. Hopefully it will stop the leak.
