I am about to purchase an 83 280D. Why is there almost no references for this model? Mostly 240D references.<br> <br> thx

There's no reference because there's no such car as a 1983 280D. Post the VIN and I'll tell you what kind of car it is.

I will post the VIN tomorrow. However, the AZ title states that it is a 280D. It may make a difference in that it is a CA certified European model complete with driver seat fire extinguisher and kilometer odometer, etc.

The VIN is for a 280E -- gasoline rather than diesel.
