Recently my stop lights and the turn signals went on strike.

I took some voltage measurements at the fuse box, with the ignition in the On position and the instrument cluster removed. I checked the fusebox and the fuses 8, 10, 12 and 14 had no power, with the key at position 1.

There is power from the battery at the main light switch and at the ignition switch. From the ignition switch a red/black wire feeds a header for fuses 8, 10, 12 and 14, which now appear to be dead. Fuse 12 controls the stop lights.

I checked that the power was coming to the ignition switch and I removed the harness plug from steering lock device and made continuity tests from that plug to the fusebox. They were ok.

I removed the ignition switch and checked the continuity between the pins (e.g. the pin that has the power and another one that connects to the fusebox) and they are also ok.

This seems to be a tricky problem - so many connections.

Any advice appreciated.
