I will consider ending the auction early.
Cold AC.
Bad clearcoat on trunk and starting to fail on the top of the car.
Only a few things don't work:
- rear passenger window is hard to get it to go up. Hitting the down button seems to make the up work.
- passenger seat belt presenter doesn't seem to work.
- cracks in the dash, but the interior is really pretty nice in my opinion.
Rust has taken hold behind the front wheels in the rockers, and if you are looking for a long term ownership, and not something to drive around for a few years before taking the valuable bumpers, lights, headlight wipers, and black leather interior, then I'd recommend welding new rocker metal in. I may be able to provide metal from the 1989 300se I am patting out.
I need to thin the beard and hope to sell this car to get some funds and fewer projects. I've got three kids and a wife, needing cars that fit 5 people. So the SEC doesn't fit the bill.
