Can anyone explain or know why, my SL starts fine in the morning, cold, and will start fine after resting about 3 or 4 hours. However if you drive it and park and turn it off and then try and restart, it takes about 4 times before it turns over. It seems it has a hot starting issue. Thank you.

If you try to start immediately after turning off it is hard to start? Or after sitting 10 minutes or so it is hard to start?

They start from cold better because of an extra squirt of gas. They are not so good at hot starts ( at least mine isn't )

starting immediately after turning off is no problem, starts right up. After sitting 10 minutes or so then it takes about four starts. Any ideas? Thank you.

I have the same exact problem. Can sit for a month and start perfect. But sit 10mins to 6 hours and it’s hard to start

Accumulator. It maintains pressure in the system for that purpose.
