Hi.

I can't find any engine ancillary diagrams anywhere for this engine. I can spot a brake servo, exhaust manifold, etc, but would have no idea what a vacuum pump even looks like. I think I know the general direction it's meant to be located - front right as I'm looking at the engine from the grill??

I need to know where it is so I can do a proper vacuum gauge test.

TIA.

There is no vacuum pump. The vacuum comes off the intake manifold.

Your 17" steady reading means your engine is in great condition.

I was starting to think that might be the case. Thought I was going nuts.

Wait... how did you? :D

Thanks very much.

Welcome. These are gorgeous cars, lucky you.
If you could stick it in your profile that would be great.

Glad you got your answer already. Show us pics, I love W116.
