·Howdy Folk,
I just bought this one-family owned 300D a couple days ago (pics). 70 provable K, air & most the rest. New compressor last year w/a rad rebuild two years ago. Owned by a slightly eccentric author in Houston (where I'm at)..
My 1st Benz, I've owned a Volk-D. Biggest problem I see so far is "tired" vacuum pressure, which I am hoping is due to tube leaks. There is a tube unconnected that I'll try & include in the pics. Tube & junction will be in far upper right corner, resting on the w/w motor. Also, the CC vac hose is removed & plugged. The door locks will accuate about 5Xs on risidual vacuum, but won't seem to accuate well while the car is running. Air will blow cold but "switched" itself to heat 1X so far.
Anyone know what those lose vac tubes are? Any ideas as to where to first look for leaks (and how if possible)... D'man
