So, I read through about half of the posts that dealt with 450sl's running warm, and I didn't find much in the way of a definitive answer. The car runs warm on the highway only in the summer (the Texas summer), but in the winter it's fine. It runs a little warm around town in the summer, but not nearly as hot as on the highway. It's done this since I bought it five years ago. It gets around 16mpg, so I think that it's not a fuel problem. My guess would be a clogged radiator, as I think the radiator is the original one. Has anyone experienced the same problem with theirs?

Any advice is much appreciated.
