I am looking for a potential replacement for my current condenser which is a Bosch 1 237 330 203. This has been like finding hen's teeth. Is there a replacement or source I haven't fallen over as of yet (by the way - I FINALLY found an identical part number for my distributor after searching for months 231 402 007).

this may sound strange, but they are not needed. I was amazed when I was told this but have not used one in either my 72 or 73.

This is correct. Even dealers would remove them in the early days.

What I would do, is replace the points and condenser with a Pertronix 1885 as outlined in this thread (use the option with switchgear retained). Inexpensive and never worry about points again.
